Hello there I’m

I am a Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, Health & Lifestyle Coach, Wellness Speaker and Nourishing Recipe Developer.

Since I can remember, I have been captivated by the intricate workings of the human body. I found my passion buried under books, podcasts and anything that taught me more about humans. I spend hours educating myself to gain a better understanding of the complexity of the human body and mind without a single minute seeming to go by. Health is my hobby, it’s my passion and I read about it like my life depends on it - It kind of does.

I love making healthy food taste delicious, I love the endorphin rush I get after a good workout, I love relaxing, breathing and stretching, I love the feeling after a good restorative sleep, and I love laughing with my friends and a glass of red wine. I enjoy picking apart claims surrounding health and critically analysing studies to get down to the hard truth. I pride myself on living my passion and feel so lucky to have discovered what I love. I thrive on a balanced, simple, healthy way of living across all areas of my life and believe in wellness without deprivation. Although, rewind back to a few years ago and things looked very different.

Like many teenage girls, the social pressure weighed in and I spent years hating my body. I tried every single trick in the book at an attempt to achieve a certain look and became a chronic fad dieter swinging between starvation and bingeing. I developed an unhealthy obsession with working out.

I entered a bikini competition, a paradoxical way to prove that you’re a pillar of “health and fitness”, in which I underwent extreme dieting and excessive exercise which would lead to all kinds of hormonal imbalances, disordered eating, metabolic disrupt and low self-esteem.

Thankfully, those days are over and I love my body and myself more with each day. On a quest to regain my sanity and put a stop to my unhealthy “healthy” habits, I began experimenting with real foods, and shifting my outlook on life to be more positive and not so focused on perception and looks. I started living with health in mind, I ate to nourish my body and for pleasure, not out of fear I exercised to feel and look healthy, not skinny. And slowly, I started healing my relationship with myself.

It wasn’t an easy transition going from hate to love and finding balance, but I am here now and my passion has lead me to want to work with people like you, and help you to achieve personal transformation. This has been my ambition for years.

My experience, education, and countless hours of research have given me a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of all aspects of health. Experience has also taught me that change needs to be gradual to be sustained - quick fixes simply don’t work in the long run.

I have always held a strong desire to help others, so I have decided to dedicate my time and share my knowledge in the pursuit of optimal health and happiness, not only for myself, but for you.

I truly believe being healthy doesn’t need to be hard.

 How amazing are you!

Our bodies and minds are capable of miraculous things, most of which are completely unconscious to us and happen without needing a single thought.

I mean just think about this for a second, your heart beats more than 101 thousand times a day to pump more than 5 liters of blood per minute, and your blood will travel more than 19 thousand kilometers in the next 24 hours.

Your brain has about 100 billion neurons – that’s about the number of stars there is in the Milky Way Galaxy. As you finish reading this sentence, your body will have made 300 million cells. Each of the 37 trillion cells that make up your body, execute somewhere between 100 thousand to 6 trillion functions per second! You’ll inhale 2 million liters of oxygen today, and each time you inhale, that oxygen will be distributed to every cell in your body within seconds…

How much does your brilliant machine of a body have to love you, and want for you to survive to love you into life? It’s time we show our bodies that we love them back by fuelling ourselves with the nutrients that we need, keeping in shape with exercise, reducing the impact of stress, and giving ourselves enough rest.
